Adam Eaton Goes 1-for-4 in Return from DL on Saturday
6 years agoAfter being activated from the disabled list Saturday morning, Washington Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton led off against the Giants on Saturday, finishing 1-for-4 with two runs scored. Nationals fans and fantasy owners alike are happy to see Eaton back, but the logjam in the Washington outfield will affect playing time to an extent. Manager Dave Martinez confirmed that he intends to shuffle the outfield from day-to-day so that Eaton, Bryce Harper, Juan Soto and Michael Taylor will all get playing time. Saturday's game already saw the effect of that shuffle with Harper getting the start in center field. Fantasy owners will need to keep a close eye on the lineups in Washington going forward, but when Eaton is in the lineup his production should fit right in line with what was expected of him
