Adam Duvall Will Not Need Surgery On His Wrist
2 years agoUpdating a previous report, Boston Red Sox outfielder Adam Duvall (wrist) will not require surgery to repair the broken wrist he suffered during Sunday's contest. Manager Alex Cora told reporters during Monday's postgame press conference that Duvall will not be needing surgery. That being said, Duvall is still expected to miss multiple weeks with the injury. Duvall had been off to an excellent start in 2023, hitting .455 with four homers and 14 RBI in eight games. Boston will turn to a combination of Raimel Tapia, Enrique Hernandez, and Rob Refsnyder in the outfield to cover for Duvall while he heals.
