Adam Duvall Getting A Breather Wednesday
1 year agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Adam Duvall is not in the starting lineup Wednesday night versus the Kansas City Royals and right-hander Jordan Lyles. The veteran slugged a homer in Tuesday night's 9-3 loss to the Royals but will take a seat for the third game of a four-game set on Wednesday. Duvall has cooled off after a white-hot start and a lengthy stint on the injured list with a fractured wrist but still has 10 homers and an .816 OPS across 51 games on the season. Not helping his fantasy cause is a crowded Red Sox outfield that has forced Duvall to the bench despite him hitting all 10 of his homers alongside an .875 OPS against right-handed pitching this season. Managers will be sorry to see him sitting against Lyles and his 1.75 HR/9 this season.
