Adam Brooks Joins Lineup With Jonathan Drouin Out
3 years agoMontreal Canadiens center Adam Brooks will replace Jonathan Drouin (head) in the lineup in Thursday's matchup against the Islanders. Drouin was hit in the head by a shot in Tuesday's 3-0 win over Detroit and left the game after taking only a handful of shifts. He was the morning skate on Thursday but the Canadiens won't rush him back. Drouin has recorded two goals and five assists in 11 appearances this season. Brooks has skated in only two games this season and hasn't contributed anything offensively. He will have a good opportunity to do it now if goes straight into Drouin's spot on the second line.
