3 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi (hamstring) was forced to leave Monday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates after experiencing what's being described as a "little tweak" in his hamstring. The early indications make it sound as if his removal from the game was mostly precautionary. Mondesi had gone 2-for-3 with a home run in the game before he was replaced by Nicky Lopez. Through seven games this year, Mondesi is slashing .360/.360/.720 with two home runs, five RBI and one stolen base.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
