3 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi had the biggest hit of the day in the team's 5-3 win over the Boston Red Sox on Friday. Mondesi hit a three-run home run in the third inning that was measured at 464 feet. The home run was his only hit of the game as he went 1-for-3 with a walk. Mondesi now has four home runs over just nine games this year. The power numbers are great to see after he hit only six home runs in 59 games last year. He only has one stolen base so far this year, but that's mostly due to the fact that seven of his 11 hits on the year have been for extra-bases.
