Abraham Toro Begins Working Out At Arizona Complex
4 months agoOakland Athletics third baseman Abraham Toro (hamstring) has begun working at the team's spring training complex in Arizona. Athletics skipper Mark Kotsay expressed that the 27-year-old could embark on a rehab assignment after the All-Star break. Toro was placed on the 10-day injured list on June 22 with a strained hamstring. Prior to the injury, Toro saw time in several defensive positions and held a .260/.303/.386 line with six home runs and three stolen bases. When he returns to the major leagues, he could be worth adding in deeper AL-only leagues due to positional flexibility.
