Aaron Wise Fits Quite Nicely At C.C. Of Jackson
3 years agoAaron Wise certainly makes sense for this course on paper. Over his last 36 rounds, the University of Oregon product ranks first in birdies or better gained, 11th in proximity from 125-150 yards, 15th in proximity from 150-175 yards, 16th in greens in regulation gained, and 15th in strokes gained par-fives. Wise was actually quite good in the FedEx Cup playoffs, logging a 21st-place finish at the Northern Trust, and a 17th-place finish at the BMW Championship. He has infamously switched putting styles recently, and in his last start, he gained 2.7 strokes putting. If Wise has found something with the flat-stick, he could be very dangerous this week.
