Aaron Sanchez's Struggles Continue On Friday
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Aaron Sanchez was tagged for five runs on eight hits through 4 1/3 innings during Friday's matchup against the Miami Marlins. Sanchez also walked three batters while striking out only two. Luckily, the Blue Jays offense pulled off a comeback in the ninth inning to saddle him with a no-decision. Sanchez has given up a total of 18 hits and 11 runs in his two starts since being activated off of the disabled list. He has a tantalizing skill set, but this is back-to-back injury-riddled campaigns for the 26-year-old. He has a 3-5 record on the season which is coupled with a 5.22 ERA. His next start will come on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays, but he should be avoided for streaming purposes.
