Aaron Rodgers Throws Just One Touchdown During Sunday Loss
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 26-of-41 passes for 246 yards and a touchdown during the team's 27-10 loss to the New York Jets. The reigning MVP was under constant duress Sunday, being hit nine times, sacked four, and losing one of his two fumbles. He was left off the field for the final offensive drive of the game in favor of Jordan Love because the game was already out of reach. Through six weeks, Rodgers has averaged 234 passing yards, 1.5 touchdowns, and just 12 fantasy points per game. Slot receiver Randall Cobb (ankle) was carted off the field in the middle of this contest, leaving the Packers' wide receiver corps as bare as it has been all season. The 38-year-old has yet to finish as a QB1 for fantasy any week this year, but he will be on the streaming radar next week against Washington, who has one of the worst pass defenses in the league.
