Aaron Rodgers Still Jets' Preferred Option
2 years agoAccording to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers remains the Jets' top priority heading into the 2023-24 campaign. Although New York had free-agent Derek Carr in for a visit, Rodgers is the preferred option. The multi-time MVP struggled somewhat last season after No. 1 wideout Davante Adams was dealt to the Raiders in the offseason, finishing the year with 3,695 passing yards, 26 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions while completing 64.6% of his throws. Rodgers still has yet to decide if he will continue playing. However, it appears the Packers are ready to move on from the 39-year-old, especially with the team reportedly having confidence that Jordan Love can handle things as the starter moving ahead.
