Aaron Rodgers Sits Out Preseason Game
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was a healthy scratch for Green Bay’s third preseason game against the Oakland Raiders. Green Bay rested a number of their starters in the game. This is a departure from past preseasons where veterans usually saw their biggest work in the third preseason game. At this point, Rodgers really doesn’t need the preseason in order to get himself ready for Week 1, so there is no reason for concern. Rodgers has looked good so far this preseason and in training camp. While there may be concerns about his supporting cast and coaches, deficiencies in those areas haven’t slowed Rodgers before. Rodgers is an elite fantasy quarterback who should be considered the top option at the position.
