Aaron Rodgers May Sit Out Remainder of Preseason
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers may not see any additional playing time in Green Bay’s two remaining preseason games. Rodgers spent Monday working with the scout team. This is usually a sign that he will not see the field in the upcoming preseason game. Rodgers is not injured. Green Bay simply doesn’t want to expose him to injury. They are also eager to see back-ups play against starting caliber players. Green Bay has traditionally given its starters the most work in the third preseason game, so this would be a departure from year’s past. It should not change how you view Rodgers, an elite fantasy quarterback who should be the first quarterback selected in every draft.
