Aaron Rodgers Has Another Pedestrian Fantasy Performance
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 23-of-35 pass attempts for 194 yards and two touchdowns during the team's 23-21 loss to the Washington Commanders. This was a prove-it game for fantasy purposes for the reigning MVP, but he still failed to put up big numbers in a plus matchup. The Packers' offense, as a whole, looks broken. The run game produced only 38 total yards, and the wide receivers totaled only 109 of the 194 yards thrown against one of the worst pass defenses in football. It does not help that No. 1 wide receiver Allen Lazard (shoulder) left this game late and may not be available next week. The 38-year-old quarterback goes on the road to play Buffalo in Week 8. Even with Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert on bye, Rodgers should not be in any fantasy lineups next week.
