Aaron Rodgers Doesn't Find Joint Practice Helpful
5 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers didn't find the recent joint practice against the Houston Texans helpful. New head coach Matt LaFleur liked the practice and commented that he would like to have more of them. However, the team's star quarterback was looking forward to the ending, so the team "can get onto the rest of training camp". The Packers are installing a new offense, and Rodgers felt as though the time would have been better spent installing that, rather than running a dumbed-down version of the offense. The Packers may have stalled in practice against the Texans, but Rodgers thinks the offense will get back on track once the Texans leave the building- something that is crucial for the team's production this season.
