2 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (thumb) will travel to Detroit to face the Lions this Sunday. He is on track to play despite his limited practice participation, as he has followed the same practice pattern over the past few weeks. The reigning MVP has had a rough fantasy season thus far and is currently the QB17 in overall points scored. His wide receiver corps, which had a ton of question marks entering the season, has been banged up, but he should have his top option Allen Lazard (shoulder), back this week for their divisional matchup. Detroit has given up the second-most fantasy points per game to the quarterback position and has only generated two interceptions through seven games. While many have moved away from Rodgers in recent weeks, six teams are on bye in Week 9, including Dak Prescott, Daniel Jones, Russell Wilson, and Jimmy Garoppolo. The 38-year-old has been disappointing even in plus matchups thus far but should be considered a fringe QB1 against Detroit.--Ryan Larrison - RotoBaller
