Aaron Rodgers A Mid-Tier Streaming Option In Week 17
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will face the division-rival Minnesota Vikings in Week 17. The reigning MVP has not thrown multiple touchdown passes since Week 12, as the Packers have generated most of their points on the ground with running backs Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. Even in plus matchups against Miami and Chicago over the past four games, Rodgers has failed to finish higher than QB14. This week's matchup against Minnesota is great. The Vikings allow the fifth-most fantasy points per game to the quarterback position this season. However, with the 39-year-old struggling to finish inside the top 12, he is nothing more than a boom-or-bust streaming option this week. Wide receiver Christian Watson (hip) is questionable to suit up for this game. If he is ruled out, Rodgers' ceiling will dip even lower.
