Aaron Rai Looks To Get Back On Track At Mexican Open
1 day agoAaron Rai has struggled to put his full game together so far in 2025, recording a T15, a missed cut, a T40, and most recently a T37 at Torrey Pines. He now shifts his focus to the Mexican Open, an event where he finished T19 last year. This course is similar to last week's and will benefit players who hit the ball far off the tee and are proficient with long irons, as 63.5% of all approach shots came from this distance last year. Rai is the epitome of hitting the ball straight but not far, as he finished last year as the No. 1 player in driving accuracy but just 153rd in driving distance. He also finished 2024 18th in proximity from 175-200 yards and ninth in strokes gained from tee to green. Coming off a solid finish at Torrey Pines, Rai should have enough momentum to get his season on track. Fantasy managers should highly consider playing him at his $9,400 price tag on DraftKings.
