Aaron Nola Remains Perfect At Home
6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola is just two wins away from setting a personal record in his fourth professional season, and we haven’t reached the All-Star break yet. The 25-year-old dominated the Baltimore Orioles as the Philadelphia Phillies prevailed at home 4-1. Nola surrendered just one run across seven innings of work, striking out nine. The victory improved his home record to 8-0 this season as he continues to set himself up as a possible Cy Young contender. Across his last eight outings, he’s recorded seven quality starts, beating the division-rival Washington Nationals twice to close out the last month.
