Aaron Nola Implodes In Opening Day Start
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola got lit up in his Opening Day start against the Texas Rangers, allowing five runs over just 3 2/3 innings. Nola was actually cruising for the first three innings, allowing just one baserunner. But things came unraveled in the fourth, when he allowed four hits and a walk, including a three-run homer to Robbie Grossman, before being pulled. The fantasy ace has been known to have these occasional blow-ups, but they are usually few and far between. Expect Nola to bounce back from this performance and put up his usual ace-like numbers this season.
