Aaron Judge’s Home Run Fuels Win In Philly
6 years agoWith New York Yankees rookie pitcher Jonathan Loaisiga dealing on the mound, outfielder Aaron Judge had the biggest hit of the game on Monday, delivering a home run to left in the fifth inning, increasing his club’s lead to two runs. It was his 20th home run of the season, breaking a brief deadlock between him and Giancarlo Stanton for most on the team. It was one of two hits on the night for Judge, who had cooled off considerably in terms of home runs. Entering the game, he had only recorded one across the past two weeks, allowing Stanton to catch up. While this has been a .244 hitting month for the 26-year-old, he’s still excelling heading towards an All-Star selection.
