Aaron Judge Working On Two-Strike Approach
6 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge, who hit his fourth spring homer on Tuesday, has been working on his two-strike approach in recent games to try and reduce his number of strikeouts. "For me, if there's any way I can simplify my already pretty simple swing, I feel like it's going to raise my contact rate and raise my chances of putting balls in play. If I do that, good things will happen," Judge said. The 26-year-old struck out a league-leading 208 times in 2017 but still managed to hit .284 with a league-leading 52 home runs. An injury limited him to just 112 games in 2018, but Judge is one of MLB's best power bats. He's RotoBaller's No. 7 fantasy outfielder this year.
