6 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (wrist) took another significant step in his recovery Friday afternoon prior to his club's game against the Seattle Mariners. The reigning AL Rookie of the Year entered Safeco Field and hit some pitches thrown by hitting coach Marcus Thames, looking quite healthy and not appearing to be dealing with any pain. Afterward, Judge went into the outfield to shag fly balls, always appearing comfortable. With the regular season just weeks away from reaching its conclusion, Judge will be needed by the Yankees for their likely Wild Card game. He appears as close as ever from returning from his wrist injury.--RDelgado
