Aaron Judge Takes More Simulated At-Bats
6 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (wrist) took part in another simulated game -- his second in as many days -- on Tuesday against minor league pitcher Adonis Rosa. Judge hit an opposite-field home run with head athletic trainer Steve Donohue, bench coach Josh Bard, director of pro scouting Dan Giese, assistant general manager Michael Fisherman, general manager Brian Cashman, manager Aaron Boone, hitting coach Marcus Thames and special advisor Reggie Jackson watching. The slugger also put three other balls in play and swung and missed at several pitches. Judge could return to the lineup and hit in the series against the Red Sox this week, but it's unclear if he'll start or not. He's been out since July 26 after fracturing his wrist, but he could provide power numbers for owners down the stretch.
