Aaron Judge Still Has Pain In Wrist
6 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (wrist) could soon take batting practice on the field, but he continues to experience pain in his fractured right wrist. "The pain is not gone. It's still broken," Judge said, before adding, "I knew I was going to be back in some meaningful games here down the stretch. I'm just excited to get closer. I'm getting one step closer every day to that moment and getting back on the field. I'm just looking forward to that." Judge said that his pain level was about a "four" on a scale of one to 10 on Aug. 28, and he said on Sunday that it has not changed from there. Fantasy owners have waited patiently for the slugger to return, but time is running out for him to make an impact with just several weeks left in the season. The 26-year-old was hitting .285/.398/.548 with 26 homers, 61 RBI, 70 runs scored and six steals before his injury.
