Aaron Judge Picks Up Home Run No. 1 On Opening Day
2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge didn't waste any time in 2023 to get on the board, hitting his first home run of the season as his team beat the San Francisco Giants 5-0 Thursday. Overall, the 30-year-old went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Judge had a historic campaign in 2022, where he hit .311, drove in 131, scored 133 times, stole 16 bags, and hit an American League record 62 long balls across 157 games. It'll be almost impossible for the native of California to reproduce those numbers, but fantasy owners know they're getting one of, if not the best hitter in all of baseball for this season, able to contribute plenty of value in every category.
