Aaron Judge Leads Way For Yankees Into ALDS
6 years agoNew York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge had the first hit of Wednesday night's American League wild-card game in the Bronx. After Luis Severino retired the side in order to kick off the game, the 26-year-old reigning AL Rookie of the Year smashed a two-run home run, giving his team a quick lead. He later spearheaded a rally in the sixth inning, beginning the frame with a double and later coming around to score the first of four runs in the inning. Judge, who just recently returned from a wrist injury that kept him out for months, looks to be completely back in time for his club's upcoming ALDS showdown against the Boston Red Sox.
