Aaron Judge Lands On IL
6 years agoThe New York Yankees' worst fears were realized Sunday morning as star outfielder Aaron Judge went on the IL with what manager Aaron Boone is calling a "significant" oblique injury. It occurred Saturday afternoon as the 26-year-old swung at a ball and immediately looked hurt, limping along the first base line. He was removed in a scenario Yankees fans have become all too familiar with this year, with this being the 13th Yankee to land on the IL. Judge seems to be headed for a lengthy absence, but the Yankees weren't exact with details. While his status is uncertain, he's simply too valuable to remove from rosters. Clint Frazier, currently owned in less than half of fantasy leagues, seems an ideal option as he's heating up right when the Yankees need someone to step up.
