Aaron Judge Homers In Second Straight Game
4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a walk in Saturday's 8-2 victory over Baltimore. Judge's home run was a more quiet one by Statcast standards, as it traveled 385 feet at an exit velocity of 96.6 MPH. Still, it's his third home run in the last two games- and his fourth of the week- as it's safe to say that he's broken out of the mini-slump he was in to start May. Judge now owns a .289/.389/.586 with 11 homers and 23 RBI in 36 games. He's hitting the ball as hard as ever- he ranks in the top 1-percent of the league in barrel rate, average exit velocity, expected batting average, and expected slugging percentage. If Judge can continue to stay healthy, we could see overall numbers similar to his breakout 2017 campaign.
