Aaron Judge Expected To Play Entire Series Against Tigers
4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (lower body) is expected to play in each game of this weekend's upcoming series against the Tigers. Judge has been held out of the last two contests with what manager Aaron Boone referred to as "lower-body soreness" resulting from travel and a heavy workload- though it appears as if the slugger will be good to go for some appealing matchups against Tigers' pitching. Judge owns a .852 OPS with two home runs in 14 career games against Detroit. Friday's matchup is particularly appealing, as left-hander Tarik Skubal has surrendered a 15.5 percent barrel rate and .603 expected slugging percentage, both of which rank in the bottom 10th-percentile of the league.
