Aaron Judge Collects Key RBI In Thursday's Victory
3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, and an RBI in Thursday's 7-6 win over Oakland. Judge walked and scored a run in the third inning, doubled in the eighth, and then came up with a clutch, RBI single in the ninth to give New York the lead for good. The California native has been swinging a hot bat lately, as he's slashed .315/.406/.573 with six homers, 18 RBI, 16 runs scored, and four stolen bases in August. The slugging numbers are to be expected with Judge, though his recent thievery on the basepaths is just another boost to his fantasy value in what has been an excellent season. Judge is in a good position to collect his fourth straight multi-hit game on Friday against Athletics lefty Sean Manaea. Judge has three career hits, including a homer and three RBI, in nine at-bats against Manaea.
