Aaron Jones Tallies Just 54 Yards In Week 10 Loss
1 year agoGreen Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones took 13 carries for 35 yards and caught four of six targets for 19 yards during the team's 19-23 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. After handling 24 touches for a total of 99 yards and a score last week against the Rams, the veteran back saw just four more carries than backfield mate AJ Dillon, who outgained Jones 70 to 35 on the ground. In short, this was a horrible performance from the 28-year-old who came into the week as a consensus top-tier RB2. Dillon is finding his way onto the field and outperforming Jones when he does, and it is leading to both options being less reliable for fantasy week in and week out. With the Packers offense struggling most of the season and Jones being hit or miss every week, it will be tough to consider him nothing more than a low-end RB2 moving forward. Next week's matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers will make it tough for Jones to keep out of lineups, but manage your expectations moving forward.
