Aaron Jones Tallies Just 44 Yards In Week 6
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones carried the ball nine times for 19 yards, adding three receptions on four targets for 25 yards, during the team's 27-10 loss to the New York Jets. The usage for the 27-year-old back was frustrating in this one, as noted several times by the commentary team. Jones will need to be more involved in the passing game moving forward. Slot wide receiver Randall Cobb (ankle) was carted off during this game, leaving the Packers' receiving corps extremely thin. The sixth-year back has had two disappointing fantasy performances in a row, considering the defenses he has played against. However, he does have a get-right game against a horrendous Washington Commanders defense next week. Jones should be viewed as a top 15 option in Week 7.
