2 months agoMinnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones was explosive on the ground against the New York Giants in Week 1. The former Green Bay Packer averaged nearly seven yards per touch as he converted his 14 carries to 94 yards and a touchdown while adding 15 yards on two receptions in the receiving game. Jones was one of the Vikings premier offseason pick-ups, as their rushing attack was subpar in 2023. The 29-year-old rusher rewarded the team with an impressive day with five different carries of ten yards or more. Jones is building off of the end of last season, where he had several games with 100 offensive yards after his 2023 injury, and is hopeful to continue to pay the team dividends. Despite the solid performance, Jones is a low-end RB2 in a tough matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2.--Bruce Clark - RotoBaller
