Aaron Holiday Records A Double-Double In Spot Start
5 years agoIndiana Pacers guard Aaron Holiday had a very productive 12th start of the season on Monday, finishing an overtime win against Toronto with 19 points and 10 assists. He also had one block and one steal, while committing just one turnover in 31 minutes of action. Holiday was pretty quiet in the opening half, but he ended up with a career-high five triples in the end and shot 7-for-16 overall from the field. The 23-year-old guard has been in and out of the starting unit, but that hasn't bothered him much as he's dropped 10-plus points in seven straight contests. It was Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring) who sat out on Monday. Holiday is averaging 13.8 points, 5.2 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals as a starter this season.
