Aaron Hicks To Have MRI Saturday
6 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks (hamstring), who left Game 1 of the American League Division Series early on Friday against the Red Sox, said he felt his right hamstring cramping up before the game. He will undergo an MRI exam on Saturday, which will determine the severity of the injury. Hicks dealt with a hamstring ailment on his right side to end the regular season, so this is probably related. There's a good chance he'll need to be replaced on the ALDS roster, which would mean he'd be unavailable for the Championship Series should the Yankees advance. It'd be a big blow to the Bronx Bombers offense. If Hicks misses any time, Brett Gardner should replace him in the outfield.
