Aaron Hicks On The Verge Of Returning
7 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks (intercostal) played in a game with the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders on Tuesday as he takes another step towards returning to the big league club. The 28-year-old picked up a couple of hits before exiting following five innings of work. The Yankees plan on having Hicks play a full game Wednesday before joining the club. That could be on Thursday for the series finale against the Red Sox or Friday as they begin a new series against the Detroit Tigers. Hicks went down after opening day with an intercostal strain, being place on the 10-day disabled list. He will return to starting center field duties when he's ready, and he should be owned in all leagues.
