Aaron Hicks Homers For Second Straight Game
4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks homered for the second consecutive game on Saturday in a 2-1 win over the Indians. The Yankee lineup couldn't muster much of anything against Shane Bieber for four innings until Hicks stepped to the plate in the top half of the fifth, turning on a 1-2 fastball and driving it into the right-center seats. The veteran outfielder now has a home run in back-to-back games and is definitely putting together batter at-bats since manager Aaron Boone benched him for one game so he could make "mechanical" adjustments. He'll look to keep rolling on Sunday against Indians' righty Tristan McKenzie.
