Aaron Hicks Has Torn Tendon Sheath In Left Wrist
4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks (wrist) had an MRI on his left wrist, which revealed a "torn sheath that holds the tendon in place." Hicks is currently taking medication, and the Yankees will know in a few days whether it's resolved or will ultimately require surgery. It's a tough blow for Hicks- who is not in Friday's lineup- either way, as he was really starting to put it together at the dish after a rough start, going 8-for-24 with four RBI and five runs scored in May. If Hicks can manage the issue, he could play as soon as this weekend- or he could require a stint on the injured list. Stay tuned.
