Aaron Hicks Could Be Done For Season After Setback
5 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks may not be recovered in time to rejoin the team this year after suffering a setback in his rehab, according to manager Joe Girardi. While the latest MRI showed no new damage to Hick's right-UCL, it also didn't show enough progress to allow Hicks to resume throwing. And that puts Hicks on a time crunch with only 19 games remaining in the regular season as Girardi also said that he will not be able to swing a bat until he's able first able to throw. Hicks is now safely droppable in all leagues.
