Aaron Gordon Scores 13 Points In Nuggets Debut
4 years agoDenver Nuggets power forward Aaron Gordon finished his team debut with 13 points on 6-for-9 shooting on Sunday, logging 21 minutes in a home win versus Atlanta. All of his misses came from deep as he went 1-for-4 with the three-ball. Gordon also collected two rebounds, one assist and one steal. The 25-year-old forward will fit in nicely in Denver, and it's only a matter of time before he starts playing bigger minutes. He will play his second game for the team on Tuesday in an uncomfortable matchup against Philadelphia. Gordon shot just 1-for-8 from the field in his lone meeting with the Sixers this season, and Doc Rivers' team boasts the second-best defensive record in the league against opposing power forwards.
