Aaron Gordon Dishes Out Season-High Eight Assists
4 years agoOrlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon looked great in a losing effort to the Bucks on Monday night. Gordon recorded 21 points, a season-high eight assists, five boards, three triples, a pair of blocks, and a steal in 35 minutes. The 25-year-old made several good plays, none better than a fourth-quarter dunk where he rose above Giannis Antetokounmpo for the slam. Gordon is finally playing starter's minutes and thriving after Orlando took a cautious approach with his playing time to start the year. He's averaged 18.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 2.6 triples per game in five January contests. Gordon's upcoming Wednesday matchup with Boston could be postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak on the Celtics.
