Aaron Civale To Make Brewers Debut On Friday
5 months agoRight-hander Aaron Civale will make his debut with the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday on the road against the Los Angeles Dodgers, according to manager Pat Murphy. Civale will be followed by right-hander Freddy Peralta on Saturday and left-hander Dallas Keuchel on Sunday in the series in LA. Right-hander Bryse Wilson will pitch out of the bullpen for the time being after Milwaukee acquired Civale from the Tampa Bay Rays earlier this week. The 29-year-old Civale won't be a recommended fantasy streamer on the road against the Dodgers on Friday. He's currently 2-6 with a 5.07 ERA and 1.38 WHIP with 84 K's in 87 innings over his 17 starts in 2024. The underlying numbers show that Civale has a shot to be better in the second half, though, especially with a better offense backing him.
