Aaron Civale Allows Two Runs In Solid Double-A Outing
3 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Aaron Civale (finger) had a strong rehab start at Double-A Akron on Wednesday. He pitched five innings and allowed four hits, one walk and two runs (one earned) while striking out six. It was his third start during this current rehab stint, but his first at Double-A. He made his previous start at High-A Lake County last week and pitched 4.1 shutout innings. Civale has been out since mid-June, but he appears to be nearing a return to the Indians. He should be rostered in all fantasy leagues as he could give managers a big boost in the playoffs. Over 15 games with the Tribe this year, he has gone 10-2 with a 3.32 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP.
