Chicago's primary closer Liam Hendriks was unavailable after throwing 33 pitches in Friday's loss to the Tigers. Bummer yielded back-to-back hits but settled down and struck out the side to record his first save of the season. The 28-year-old owns a 10.80 ERA, 3.00 WHIP, and five strikeouts over two appearances in 2021.
