Aaron Bummer Appears To Be Healthy Entering 2021
4 years agoChicago White Sox relief pitcher Aaron Bummer should be healthy entering 2021. The lefty missed much of the 2020 season with a left biceps strain and a left biceps nerve issue, but has thrown in seven games this spring and allowed four runs in 6 2/3 innings. Bummer has been a mainstay at the back of the White Sox bullpen over the last couple of seasons and that should continue to be the case in 2021. The White Sox went big this offseason and signed closer Liam Hendriks, but Bummer could still see some save opportunities and would likely be the next man up if Hendriks were to struggle or get hurt. Outside of leagues that count holds, Bummer can be left on the waiver wire.
