Aaron Altherr Continues Hot Streak
7 years agoAfter a much-publicized announcement from manager Gabe Kapler that the Philadelphia Phillies would go with a rotation in the outfield, one of the casualties was Aaron Altherr. The 27-year-old would not be an everyday player, but would still see significant action this season. As of late, however, Altherr has been on fire, hitting .318 across the past seven games. Following his performance on Thursday afternoon, he carries a five-game hitting streak, having recorded at least one RBI in the past four consecutive games. At this rate, it will be hard to justify benching Altherr, allowing him to become a viable player in the fantasy baseball waiver wire department.
