A.J. Puk Shut Down With Bicep Concerns
7 years agoOakland Athletics pitching prospect A.J. Puk (bicep) has been shut down with biceps soreness, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Puk had an MRI and there was no indication of any major structural damage. Since the injury does not appear to be serious, the Athletics are just taking every precaution, considering recent injuries to the rotation. Puk should be back on the mound in the near future. He will start the season in the minors after having a good spring, allowing four earned runs with seven strikeouts in nearly 11 innings. Puk should be owned in all dynasty leagues and will be up at some point this year.
