A.J. Pollock to Begin Minor League Rehab Assignment
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder A.J. Pollock has been out of the lineup since mid-April due to an elbow infection. He begins a rehab assignment with High-A Rancho Cucamonga on Thursday but the rehab assignment should be for multiple games due to the length of his injury. He recorded an abysmal .223/.287/.330 slash line with two home runs in the 28 games before his injury, but many believe the elbow infection was the cause of his slow start. Fantasy owners should expect him back in the Dodgers lineup after the all-star break, but where he will factor into that lineup remains to be seen as there is a logjam of talent currently on the Dodgers roster with Corey Seager and David Freese also being close to a return from injury.
