A.J. Minter Notches First Save On Tuesday
2 years agoAtlanta Braves left-hander A.J. Minter recorded his first save of the season on Tuesday after pitching the ninth inning of the 4-1 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals. He allowed no hits or walks and struck out one in a clean inning of work. Minter's thrown three innings thus far and has yet to give up a run while striking out two and giving up just one hit. The 29-year-old's been solid for the Braves over the past three seasons, so with Raisel Iglesias on the shelf for the time being it should be Minter who continues to get the save chances. He should be rostered right now in all formats until Iglesias makes his return.
